Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to start strong with Timer Stack.
Quick answers on creation, sharing, AI, music, HealthKit, sync, and subscriptions.
Gallery & Templates
How do I add a stack from the Gallery?
Open the Gallery tab, browse or search, preview a stack, and choose “Add to My Stacks” to save it into your collection.
Can I modify a gallery template?
Yes. Imported gallery stacks become your own editable copy, so names, icons, timings, and other fields can all be changed.
Sharing & Verification
How do I share my routine?
Open the stack, choose the share action, and generate either a QR code or a Magic Link. The recipient can import the stack directly into Timer Stack.
What happens if I edit a shared stack later?
Shared links represent a snapshot of the routine at the time you published it. If you make changes later, you need to share the updated version again.
What is the Verified badge?
The badge identifies a branded stack from a verified creator, with cryptographic signing used to preserve authenticity and trust.
AI & Music
How does AI routine generation work?
Describe the routine in natural language and Timer Stack builds a full stack with structure, labels, durations, and matching contextual details.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
You can always edit the generated stack before saving. More specific prompts usually produce better structures.
Which music services are supported?
Timer Stack currently supports Apple Music and Spotify.
Why isn’t my music playing?
Check provider authorization, confirm you have the required subscription, and make sure the provider app is installed and signed in when needed.
HealthKit, Notifications & Sync
Why aren’t my timers syncing to Apple Health?
Check Health permissions, make sure the timer has an assigned workout type, and remember that heart-rate collection requires supported Apple hardware.
Which metrics are tracked?
Timer Stack currently records heart rate, active energy burned, and the workout type associated with the active routine.
Why am I missing timer completion alerts?
Verify notification permissions, review Focus modes, and check your device sound settings if alerts seem muted or suppressed.
My stacks are not appearing on other devices.
Make sure every device is signed into the same iCloud account, iCloud Drive is enabled, and give CloudKit a short time to sync changes.
Subscriptions
How do I restore my subscription?
If you reinstall the app or move devices, your subscription should be restored automatically as long as you use the same account.
What is the difference between Standard, Premium, and Pro?
Standard covers the core timing workflow and basic sharing. Premium adds history, export, deeper customization, and enhanced sharing. Pro adds creator branding, immersive presentation, and public gallery publication.
